On behalf of the International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists and Oncologists – IASGO, we are glad to inform you that the 2^nd IASGO Belgrade Congress is going to be held ONLINE, from 26^th until 28^th March 2021.

As a result of the recent developments and measures taken by relevant professional and governmental bodies related to the situation with COVID-19 Pandemics, throughout SEE Region, Europe, and globally, and after a careful assessment of circumstances and risks involved, the decision has been made to hold an ONLINE Congress, for regional and international audiences worldwide.

With the new world of ONLINE possibilities, we strive to organize a first-class Congress with high-quality lectures, panels, and other formats to preserve the scientific essence of the ONLINE Conference, discuss the most challenging topics of the day, and enable scientific exchange and the interaction with the participants. In addition, this approach aims to provide a safe opportunity for both lecturers and all participants to exchange knowledge with large audiences.

Congress promise is to put together high quality and attractive Conference event, covering major topics and controversies and offering responses and recommendations for the main challenges in the field.

More than 45 top international experts, from Japan, South Korea, USA, Brasil, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Thailand, Egypt, Emirates, etc., as well as regional leaders from Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, BiH, Serbia, and others, have been invited as lecturers. Already over 30 of them confirmed their presence and lectures. Consequently, we aim to complete the preliminary program until mid-January 2021.

Taking into consideration the challenge of preparing and implementing Congress of this size in Online format, we are fully committed to the success of this endeavor of wider regional significance, as one of the few comprehensive ONLINE conferences in 2021.
